Stadium or arena?
Stadiums usually hold 50,000 to 90,000 fans for concerts and host the big summer tours – often in the open air. Arenas are indoor halls with around 12,000 to 20,000 places, better sound and shows all year round.
How presales work
For high-demand tours there are often registrations, codes and several presale phases, for example for credit card or phone customers. If you miss out, use only the official resale platforms. Offers from classifieds or social media are a common source of fake tickets for sold-out shows.
Show day
Most big venues are well served by suburban and underground trains. After the show the stations are packed – if you don't want to queue, wait half an hour or stay nearby. Bag rules and door times are on your ticket and on the promoter's website.
